Instead, I will partially dismantle it so it can fit in a smaller box. The central tube is two parts, and I will remove the top part by unscrewing two tiny screws (like in the last photo). You will need to screw it back on.
From my research, this chandelier is either French or Italian, but it has no markings. It has six arms, each with a small socket, and a cord that comes out the top that can be plugged in. It also has a wire, which I think is for if you want to install it into the ceiling instead of having it be plugged in. There is a ring at the top of the central tube, so that it can hang from something. The cup shaped piece near the top is adjustable.
The overall size is about 34" tall and 19" wide. The tube and arms are chromed, but the central tube has lots of tiny rust spots, and there are some sections of rust on the arms.
Each of the 7.25 tall glass shades are held around the socket by a piece of metal. They need to be installed carefully so you don't break one.All of the shades have marks on them, seen in the pictures. They were created with tiny glass pieces on the surface when it was still hot, which give them an ice-like texture. Two have noticeable chipping around the top edges, and lesser chips on the bottom edges. _gsrx_vers_827 GS 7.0.13 (827). This item is in the category "Antiques\Furniture\Other Antique Furniture".
