FONTANA ARTE ITALIAN TABLE LAMP! Fontana Arte designed some of the most beautiful mid century lamps in the world and this table lamp is one of the finest mid century lamps ever produced. It not only produces enormous functional light, but does so with incomparable style and panache! One, two or all three bulbs can be illumined and a switch controls the bulbs on the base.

The Italian marble is stupendous! Two choice slabs of glorious black, gold and white are stacked from the Italian quarries of the mid century that produced some of the most beautiful marble in of all time! This is the sort of lamp you would find in the penthouse of the Eden Roc hotel - it embodies flair and wealth with equal ease. The fittings are all lovely!

All brass arms and neck show some tarnish to their rich gold hues. The marble is exceptional and looks as wonderful today as it did nearly three quarters of a century ago! This mid century lamp is simply one of the finest and beautiful to be had.
