Campana is a beautiful and large green/black enameled suspension lamp designed by Joe Colombo for Stilnovo, Milano, Italy in the late'60 early'70s. The light has the shape of a witches hats. It is made from thin aluminum and gives a beautiful light. It fits very well as a decorative element in furniture, as well as above a dining table.

The smooth shape and clean material combine really well to create a modern look. For sale 2 Campana chandeliers : the first is in good vintage condition with only some signs of age and use; the second with some more marks on the bodywork and in particular in the white part of the lampshade. My advice is to take them to the body shop to repaint them and bring them back to their former glory with a cost of just a few dollars. Campana : This pendant lamp is often named hat or witch hat lamp, but Campana is the Italian word for bell.

Joe Colombo designed several lamps for Stilnovo such as the Triedro floor lamp and the Topo desk lamp. Stilnovo : Founded in Milan in 1946 by Bruno Gatta, Stilnovo was one of the most important lighting companys of Italy in the post World War II industry. Stilnovo worked with a large number of leading designers, including Gaetano Sciolari, Joe Colombo, Gae Aulenti, Alberto Fraser, Ettore Sottsass, Danilo & Corrado Aroldi, Cini Boeri, Jonathan De Pas, Donato DUrbino, Paolo Lomazzi, Antonio Macchi Cassia, Roberto Beretta and so on. The company ended business in 1988. Period: late 1960s early 1970s Mid-Century Modern. Materials: Lampshade in a bell shape made of 2 green and black lacquered aluminium parts.

Black cotton cloth covered electrical wire. Cord Length: 70 cm / 27.55 (cable can be lenghted until 170 cm). Height: 25 cm / 9.84. Width: 42 cm / 16.53.

Electricity: 1 bulb E27, 1 x 100 watt maximum, 110/220 volt. Any type of light bulb can be used. I describe the articles in the best possible way.

The best impression always gives the pictures. Most of the items are vintage. It is not possible to test them all. Small signs of use are normal.

Campana è una bellissima e grande lampada a sospensione smaltata verde / nero disegnata da Joe Colombo per Stilnovo , Milano, Italia tra la fine degli anni'60 e l'inizio degli anni'70. La luce ha la forma di un cappello di strega. È realizzato in alluminio sottile e diffonde una bella luce. Si adatta molto bene come elemento funzionale e decorativo in tanti ambienti, in particolare sopra un tavolo da pranzo. La forma liscia e il materiale pulito contribuiscono a creare un look moderno.

In vendita 2 lampadari Campana : il primo è in buone condizioni vintage con solo qualche segno dovuto all'età e all'uso; il secondo con qualche segno in più sulla carrozzeria ed in particolare nella parte bianca del paralume. Il mio consiglio è portarli in carrozzeria per ridipingerli e riportarli all'antico splendore con una spesa di pochi euro.

Campana : questa lampada a sospensione è spesso chiamata cappello o lampada cappello da strega, ma campana è il nome italiano ufficiale. Joe Colombo ha disegnato diverse lampade per Stilnovo come la famosa lampada da terra Triedro e la graziosa lampada da tavolo Topo.
