Large Brutalist Mid Century Modern Green Drip Pottery Table Lamp Vintage Italian

  
This is one of the more impressive pottery lamps I've seen, but I can't find any more info about it. The base shape is made from a mold, and then each block on the outside was hand cut and put on the scored sides. The drip glaze varies from green to a sparkly brown.

It currently only functions as a vase or sculpture, so you will have to add all the lamp parts to use as a lamp. It looks like a piece of mid century Italian pottery, but there are no markings and I can't find any other examples with the blocks like this one.

It's 22" tall, 12.75" wide, and weighs over 21 lbs. The most obvious chip is about 1.2 long on one of the blocks, easily seen in the first photo. There are several other smaller ones scattered about.

It also looks like the top got hit, resulting in a chip and little crack. The little crack looks like the beginnings of another chip, and not something that would reduce the integrity of the ceramic. If you decide to make this into a lamp, the top could be covered with a cap. _gsrx_vers_827 GS 7.0.13 (827).
