SEGUSO SOMMERSO VASE FLAVIO POLI STYLE'50s ITALY DEEP RED AMBER CLEAR 19cm VGC

  

Elegant Sommerso vase possibly designed by Flavio Poli for Seguso Verti d' Vetri in the 1950s. It features a deep red colour with an amber casing that is then cased in clear. It's a flattened shape with two pulled top bits. Condition tells us that it is indeed from the 1950s with "good" age wear to the base and some very minor surface marks from normal usage and age.

There is one chip to the base rim (see photos) that, thankfully, is not visible when the vase is standing. It's 19cm tall, 10cm wide and 4cm deep. A real survivor from the mighty Italians.
