This sumptuous work has an almost illusionist quality as its dimensions are heightened through the use of brilliant color. Likely done in the early 1950's. Thick chunks of pure color dazzle, tangle and mix on the surface of this outstanding Italian Modernist work. Wife of famed Italian Modernist Pietro Cascella.
