Remarkable Statement Piece of Rare Vivai Del Sud furniture. Extremely rare 4 Panel Bamboo Screen. Excellent condition for being 50 years old. An extremely stylish bamboo room divider (or screen) manufactured by Vivai Del Sud in Italy in the 1970s.

This mid century mirrored bifold screen is a statement piece which belongs in a modern Florida designed home. The Vivai del Sud production presented a whole series of furnishings and accessories inspired by palm groves. They used various materials but their most famous and sought after items utilised bamboo for such pieces as this. CONDITION In good condition - wear consistent with age, of note is the wonderful colour of this room divider, the bamboo having taken a lovely dark honey colour over the years.

Some scuffs and marks to the front, the reverse has had some sympathetic restorations (please refer to photographs) but overall in very good order. SIZE Height: 84 tall 4 panels wide.
